Chris Hafstad contacted me to see if I was willing to do a DNA test - to which I consented. She was trying to connect her HERBERT line to the Herbert's of Monmouth County, NJ. It turns out her male family member's DNA was a match to my HARBERT DNA. We're related somehow, but at this point we can't trace it back. Below are some of her old HERBERT ancestors.
