I have attempted to trace Thomas Harbert Sr's descendants from their beginnings in Harrison County, (West) Virginia in the late 1700's as they migrated across the continent all the way to the West Coast to the present. This has been a monumental task of which I've devoted literally decades of my life in gathering. It's been a great pleasure to meet many of my "distant" cousins with whom I've become very close. Many have since passed on since I've had that pleasure. Others of you I have yet to meet!
But by far the greatest percentage here are only names on a page - lost to history and time - but for the trifling efforts of individuals like me who feel they have a calling to know, understand and document the past. I've gathered this information from U.S. Census Records; Birth, Death & Marriage Records; Newspaper archives; State & Local Records; as well as personal contact.
The names are listed beginning with Thomas' sons and move forward in time. Each son's children are listed and numbered with each of their children listed beneath them, all color-coded by generation as follows:

Perhaps you've stumbled across this website in search of your family history. If so, I hope it's been of assistance to you. In addition to the little information I have listed here, I do have additional information on some individuals which I was not able to publish due to space constraints. If you see any errors, or have any additions you wish to make, or have any questions, please contact me.
